learning about alligatorsSo I bet you are all wondering how camping was. Well it didn't happen. It was going to rain all weekend and it was going to go no higher then 48 degrees. So we went to Brazos Bend State Park. We saw 56 alligators and 26 baby alligators with their mom it was really cool and we got to pet a snake and an alligator and a tarantula. We went on a three mile hike and got really close to one alligator because we were on the Pier and it went close to the edge and just sat there and let us look at it. It was about 5 ft long, but we saw bigger ones, about 12 ft long. The babies we saw were with there mom and they were so cute.
Even alligators have cute babies :)

well i'm glad you got to do something fun and exciting and new. it sounds like a wonderful adventure - and that you kept dry. both good things. :)
